SAFRAN ENTERS U.S. MARKET WITH SAFRAN NORTH AMERICA LLC

New company will provide North American customers sales and customer support for Safran’s Microsoft®-based project and portfolio management solutions

STAVANGER, NORWAY AND ALBUQUERQUE, NM, June 25, 2007 – Safran Software Solutions AS, the manufacturers of Europe’s leading project management software suite based on Microsoft® technology, today announced the creation of and that it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Safran North America, LLC, a Delaware Corporation.

"Safran has provided to the European market for many years a robust and market-tested project management solution based on Microsoft Office Project," said Michael Angiulo General Manager, Project Business Unit, Microsoft Corporation. "Microsoft warmly welcomes Safran into the North American market where it can offer its integrated solutions to Microsoft customers."

The specific terms of the transaction were not released. The agreement will provide Safran with a North American base for its expanding range of customers. Safran North America will assume sales and support responsibilities for the Safran suite of products for the United States, Canada and Mexico. Safran’s suite of products are used by commercial companies for integrated project and portfolio management and also includes versions for commercial and ANSI-level earned value management.
